Hooker Furniture’s Live an Exceptional Life blog has been ranked 5th among the “World’s Top 50 Furniture Blogs” by Feedspot, a leading provider of preferred online content from multiple sites to subscribers.
The Hooker Furniture blog earned the distinction from Feedspot based on its robust Google reputation and search ranking, social media popularity and "quality and consistency of editorial content" according to Feedspot's editorial review, the company said.
Published several times a month on the Hooker Furniture Website, the Live an Exceptional Life Blog topics include home design and color trends, decorating tips and ideas about how to make home more inviting, comfortable, functional and beautiful.
"Today's consumer wants more than a product; they want an experience and an emotional link," said Johne Albanese, vice president of corporate marketing for Hooker.
"Our award-winning blog helps both our brand and the retailer to demonstrate how furnishings enhance people’s lives, and it creates a story around the product that leads consumers seamlessly to the retailer," Albanese added.
"The power and purpose of blogs for online clout has continued to increase in the digital age, and this venue creates a way for consumers to engage with our brand and then be connected to local retailers through our website and dealer locator," he said.
"The guiding principle of the Hooker Furniture blog is a passionate belief that an exceptional life begins at home," said Kim D. Shaver, editorial director of the blog. "It's been rewarding to see consumers and retailers engage with the blog through the years and share its content across online venues. Now, it is especially rewarding to see the blog affirmed by a top online editorial authority like Feedspot."
Hooker Furniture is an importer of residential wood and metal furniture and a manufacturer and importer of upholstered furniture in the upper-medium price points. They are ranked as one of the top five sources for the U.S. furniture market.
