12 Temporary Exhibitors Win ‘Best Booth’ Awards

Las Vegas Market named 12 furniture, home décor and gift exhibitors in temporary exhibit spaces as winners of the Winter 2017 Las Vegas Market “Best Booth” awards.

Winners are 12 Small Things; Age of Industry; Alexis Mattox Designs; Basil Bangs Pty Ltd.; Byer of Maine; Edgemod Furniture; Holbrook; Candle; Little Light Bazaar; M3LD; Phu Tai J.S. Company; Spellbound Collections/Rodeo Royalty and Age of Industry; and IDO Furniture Co., Ltd.

“As the leading furniture, home décor and gift market in the western United States, Las Vegas Market recognizes the vital roles that creativity, exceptional design and visual merchandising play in the industries we serve,” said Bob Maricich, CEO of International Market Centers. “As the number of temporary exhibits continue to set record numbers at each consecutive Market, our Best Booth Awards are a fitting way to recognize and reward those exhibitors whose time, energy and effort create displays that inspire Market attendees.”

Market officials said eight of the winners are showing in the Pavilions at Las Vegas; while two furniture exhibitors are in the home furnishings temporary exhibits on B2 and two are in the casual furniture temporary exhibits on C13.

A four-person panel of industry design authorities considered four criteria in determining winners: overall visual design of the booth; creative merchandising; cohesive brand messaging; and the overall personality and attitude of the booth and sales staff.

Winter 2017 judges were Shay Geyer, owner/designer at IBB Design Fine Furnishings; Kelli Lamb, managing editor of RUE Magazine/RUE Media; Victoria de la Camara, style and market editor for RUE Magazine; and Farah and Merhi, interior designer, influencer and founder of Inspire Me! Home Décor.

The Market’s temporary exhibits for gift and home décor run through Wednesday, and temporary exhibits for furniture and casual/outdoor run through Thursday.
