Palliser Expands Vegas Showroom, Launches New Division

Upholstery producer Palliser Furniture has expanded its Las Vegas Market showroom, and will use the additional space for the launch of a new division called North American Furniture.

Palliser officials said the new division is designed as the company’s opening price point line and is geared toward the Millennial consumer. Frames from the division will be showcased in more than 3,300 square feet of new showroom space.

As the name suggests, North American Furniture features upholstery frames made in North America. Designs in the division are upscale and trendy, speaking directly to the Millennial consumer. Created with a slant toward more transitional styling, some frames offer mid-century modern elements, while others offer a more traditional feel.

The new division offers stationary sofas, sectionals, accent chairs and storage ottomans. The transitional frames are smaller in scale, while the classic designs are scaled with more generous dimensions.

“We see North American Furniture as a great addition to our company’s upholstery offering,” said Cary Benson, CEO of Palliser. “As our opening price range, the division packs a lot of style, design prowess and sturdy construction features. It’s a fantastic entrée for Millennials looking to furnish their first loft.”

Benson said the addition of North American Furniture positions its flagship Palliser brand as the company’s mid-priced line, while its Pinnacle brand remains as its upper-end line.

He said U.S.-made performance fabrics are at the center of North American Furniture’s merchandising philosophy. Frames are available with the Revolution performance fabric, which features “stealth” stain resistance, fade resistance and exceptional durability properties. The fabric is also free of chemicals and perfluorochemicals for safer indoor air quality.

The showroom expansion boost Palliser’s showroom to about 15,700 square feet. It is located in space B-1001.
