Klaussner to Raise Funds for City of Hope Via Text Message

Klaussner’s donation campaign will take place during the winter Las Vegas Market from Sunday, Jan. 22 through Thursday, Jan. 26, when market attendees will have the opportunity to support City of Hope by making a donation via text message.

Gifts made during market week are in conjunction with the 2017 Spirit of Life Award Dinner, slated for April 23 at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C. At the dinner, Klaussner President and CEO Bill Wittenberg, along with Niraj Shah and Steve Conine of Wayfair, will receive City of Hope’s top philanthropic honor, The Spirit of Life Award.

“Our industry’s support of City of Hope unites us in a common mission for the benefit of all lives touched by cancer and diabetes,” said Wittenberg. “It is with great pride and whole-hearted commitment that we lead this effort at the well-attended January Las Vegas Market to garner funds for powerful treatments that save lives.”

To make a donation during market, participants can text: DONATE space AMOUNT space NAME to 41444. Fulfillment of gifts can be made via credit card through the link donors receive immediately following the text message.

Donations made during Las Vegas Market are not applicable toward award dinner tickets or sponsorships. All funds raised will benefit ongoing research that impacts cancer and diabetes treatment worldwide.
