Nick Bates Named President of Spring Air

Nick Bates, who has been with Spring Air International since 2009, has been promoted to president of the bedding producer.
Bates, who most recently was the company’s vice president, succeeds Rick Robinson, who passed away in mid-December. He is the nephew of Spring Air CEO Ed Bates.
“Although we continue to miss Rick, we’re also very fortunate that Nick has been with Spring Air for eight years and is prepared to take on the job,” Ed Bates said. “Our licensees are also very supportive of his appointment.”
A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Nick Bates joined Spring Air in 2009 as a sales and marketing coordinator. In 2012 he was promoted to director of corporate accounts, and was named vice president in 2016.
