FastFact: Often-Overlooked GenX in Midst of Prime Buying Years

Generation X, sometimes dubbed the “Baby Bust Generation,” is in the midst of its prime buying years and currently support more than half the nation’s children under age 18, according to data from the U.S. Census Bureau.
Sandwiched between Boomers and Millennials, GenX often is overlooked by marketers, but the data suggests the group, which is age 35 to 50, is poised to have significant influence on the economy for at least the next five years.
