Littlejohn & Co. Agrees to Acquire Brown Jordan

An affiliate of Littlejohn & Co., a private equity firm based in Greenwich, Conn., has agreed to acquire upper-end casual furniture manufacturer Brown Jordan.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Littlejohn said the transaction should close in late January.

Based in St. Augustine, Fla., Brown Jordan produces casual indoor and outdoor furniture for the commercial, consumer and hospitality markets under the Brown Jordan, Charter, Texacraft, Winston and Tropitone brand names.

Littlejohn said the company has sales of more than $300 million annually.

Moelis & Company served as the exclusive financial advisor to Brown Jordan, whose current owners include private equity firms Stonehill Capital Management and Crescent Capital Group.
