Report: Nebraska Furniture Mart Promotes Boldt to President, COO

Nebraska Furniture Mart has promoted Tony Boldt, director of its Kansas City store, to president and chief operating officer, according to a report on the Omaha World-Herald.
Boldt is taking over the posts that had been held by Ron Blumkin, who will remain with the retailer as its chairman. His brother Irv Blumkin will remain as CEO.
Boldt’s promotion is part of the company’s long-term succession plan, the report said.
