Rent-A-Center Taps Nettles for Digital Integration Post

Rent-A-Center (NASDAQ: RCII), the nation’s largest rent-to-own operator, has hired Lety Nettles for the newly created position of vice president of digital integration.

Nettles will oversee the design and construction of an innovative performance optimization platform that manages an enterprise view of business and technology assimilation. She will report to Rent-A-Center’s chief information officer, Angela Yochem.

“Rent-A-Center’s business is evolving rapidly as our technology capability advances, and the pace of change will only increase,” said Yochem. “Lety’s experience with large-scale digital transformation will help lead our company’s strategic initiatives.”

Nettles will also direct the creation of a digital strategy change model that will offer insights for operational improvements, optimizations and innovations for all lines of business.

“It is definitely an exciting time for Rent-A-Center, and I am thrilled to be part of this journey,” Nettles said. “By using technology to enhance our customer experience, we will shift the way we operate in the rent-to-own space.”

Nettles joins Rent-A-Center with over 20 years of technology experience, including designing and managing large and small corporate technology organizations at companies such as Dell, Buchanan Technologies, Oracle and Accenture. Most recently she served as a technology executive designing integration framework and change practices for Walmart. Nettles also served as a board member for Walmart’s STEM Program and Women in Technology.
