RTO Group Sets 2017 Convention for Galveston Island

APRO, the trade association for the rent-to-own industry, has scheduled its annual convention and trade show, known as Fuse 2017, for May 9-11 at Galveston Island, Texas.
The event features an all-day trade show on May 10 that will include several furniture and mattress companies as exhibitors. Ashley Furniture, Serta Simmons Bedding and Protect-A-Bed are among those listed as sponsors.
The trade show will be held at the Galveston Island Convention Center, which is across the street from the event’s host hotel, the Hilton Galveston Island Resort.
The event begins with a May 9 golf tournament, followed by an evening cocktail reception. The final day, May 11, has been designated as RTO Education Day. APRO officials said a number of workshops and other educational events are planned, and a specific schedule will be announced soon.
The annual APRO awards banquet is scheduled for the evening of May 10 after the trade show closes.
