Magniflex Mattress Line Obtains GOTS Certification

Magniflex USA, the domestic subsidiary of Italian bedding manufacturer Magniflex, said its Toscana mattress collection has been certified by GOTS, the Global Organic Textile Standard issued by the Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certification.
The certification verifies that all fabrics used in the Toscana collection are made with 100% organic materials for the maximum protection of man and the environment, the company said.
Officials said the Toscana mattress collection combines the support of Memoform with eco-friendly fabrics and materials. Mallow Foam and Geomemory Aloe can both be found in the Toscana mattresses.
Mallow Foam is a proprietary formula that uses the extract from the Mallow plant to provide extra plushness while offering calming and soothing properties. Geomemory Aloe is a type of memory foam infused with natural oils of aloe Vera that are designed to respond to weight rather than heat and gently adapt to the body’s shape.
The organic cotton found in the mattresses offers a soft feeling that guarantees maximum breathability and the base polyoils found in the foam recipe are 100% natural with a castor oil base.
The company said the mattresses are also 100% breathable and hypoallergenic.
