Bob’s Supports Children’s Reading Program

Employees of Bob’s Discount Furniture recently donned Cat in the Hat costumes at Elliott Hospital in Manchester, N.H., as part of the “Reach Out and Read” program that provides books to children who are patients at hospitals and pediatric practices.

As part of the retailer’s year-long partnership with the non-profit group, employees read “Oh, the Things You Can Do that are Good for You!” by children’s author Tish Rabe to patients gathered in the hospital’s Patient Entertainment Center.

In conjunction with the visit, the Bob’s outreach team donated 500 copies of the book and also presented Elliot Hospital with a $1,000 gift card to Bob’s Discount Furniture.
