Abbyson Living, CDI Move to First-Floor Las Vegas Showrooms

Las Vegas Market officials announced that it is creating two custom-built showroom spaces on the first floor of Building B – a move they say will fundamentally transform the lobby area and put exciting merchandise in the forefront of the atrium in time for next month’s market.

Market officials said Abbyson Living is moving to an 11,204-square-foot space, nearly doubling the size of its previous Las Vegas showroom, while CDI Furniture is relocating to a 3,850-square-foot space.

“Las Vegas Market is energized about these new furniture showroom build-outs, creating an exciting environment that will completely change the complexion of the Building B atrium,” said Bob Maricich, CEO of building owner International Market Centers. “The expanded and relocated displays by Abbyson Living and CDI Furniture, respectively, will create a lively and vibrant showroom setting ‘front and center’ in Building B.”

Abbyson Living, a Los Angeles-based furniture manufacturer, said the larger space will accommodate a greater presentation of Abbyson’s growing product line and feature a designer’s lounge, hospitality and espresso bars, and several private conference spaces.

“Abbyson Living has been steadily broadening its horizons with a number of strategic moves that have taken the business to the next level, adding new, fresh styles and categories to an already-successful brand,” stated Yavar Rafieha, president. “Las Vegas Market gives us unparalleled exposure to the western buyer base that has been crucial to Abbyson’s growth and expansion with top retailers and more recently interior designers. We therefore anticipate our high-profile presence at the gateway of Building B will be extremely valuable to our growth goals.”

CDI Furniture is a Montreal-based resource for furniture, lighting and accessories that also believes its new high-profile showroom will attract a diverse customer base.

“The CDI Furniture customer ranges from small individual retailers to large multi-store chains and hotels seeking cutting edge designs and high-quality products at equitable prices — exactly the diverse customer base that is attracted to Las Vegas Market,” explained David Ouaknine, CEO. “CDI’s innovative, inspiring designs are what set us apart from the competition and have become the very foundation for our consistent success in the industry, and this new, custom-built Las Vegas showroom will be a perfect opportunity to express our unique design aesthetic.”

The two new showroom spaces will be located in an area that was previously part of the Building B lobby.  In connection with this change, Las Vegas Market’s signature First Look trend presentation and product display will relocate to a more central and visible location in the Grand Plaza.

The next market takes place Jan. 22-26.
