Wayfair To Provide Furnishings, Décor, for HGTV Dream Home

Online retail powerhouse Wayfair (NYSE: W) announced it is providing all the furnishings and décor for HGTV’s 21st annual HGTV Dream Home.

It’s the first time Wayfair has provided furnishings for the Dream Home. For 2017, the home is a 3,200-square-foot structure on St. Simons Island, Ga.

Originally built in 1984, the property was remodeled by a team that included interior design expert Brian Patrick Flynn, who selected 400 pieces from Wayfair’s extensive catalog of more than 7 million products to transform the space.

HGTV unveiled online photo galleries and a virtual tour of the home last week on HGTV.com/HGTVDreamHome, and it will premiere during a network special at 8 p.m. ET on Jan. 1.

“As a longtime partner of (HGTV owner) Scripps Networks, we’re thrilled to collaborate for the first time on an HGTV Dream Home,” said Nancy Go, vice president of brand marketing at Wayfair. “Our comprehensive selection of furniture and décor made us the right partner to not only achieve a beautiful aesthetic, but also showcase many unique styles throughout the home that represent something for everyone.”

The Dream Home, a new Honda Pilot and $250,000 cash will be awarded to a lucky winner in late February.

Earlier, mattress manufacturer and retailer Select Comfort said it was providing beds for the three-bedroom home.
