Ben Ducatteeuw Named CEO of Latexco USA

Ducatteeuw, who begins his new job Jan. 2, is replacing Vincent Gesquiere, who has headed the U.S. operations since they were launched in 2005. The company said Gesquiere is returning to Belgium, where Latexco’s parent company is based.

Ducatteeuw has worked in the bedding industry for more than 15 years, most recently as managing director for the Deslee-Clama innovation center.

Earlier, he had corporate oversight of sales and innovations within the mattress ticking industry, and also held sales management with Deslee-Clama.

“Ben Ducatteeuw brings the experience to meet these challenges through a proven record of operational leadership, strategy development, customer service, team building, financial management and relationship management,” Latexco said in a statement announcing his appointment. “In order to further grow the Latexco US success story, Ben, together with our COO Bob Carstens, will be critical in managing our operational effectiveness.”

Latexco USA is based in Lavonia, Ga., and has a sales and distribution facility in Orange County, Calif.
