Crystorama Lighting Holds Thanksgiving Food Drive for Local Families in Need

Lighting leader, Crystorama Lighting orchestrated a food drive this month for local relief organization Island Harvest to benefit individuals and families in need throughout Long Island.
“With Thanksgiving and the holidays right around the corner, our company’s team wanted to do something special to help out individuals and families in our community who are struggling to put food on the table,” said Brad Kleinberg, president of Crystorama Lighting.
With more than 316,000 Long Islanders facing the risk of hunger every day, the office and warehouse team at Crystorama said “Long Island is our home, and we want to do all we can to help our less-fortunate neighbors during their time of need.”
Crystorama’s employees donated an array of canned and packaged foods, for delivery to Island Harvest’s headquarters in Bethpage, N.Y.
For 24 years, Island Harvest has supplemented the equivalent of about 66 million meals to a network of 570 Long Island-based food pantries, soup kitchens and other non-profits that offer feeding services for those in need.
