Wright Global Graphics Gathers Donations for N.C. Flood Victims

Wright Global Graphics, a marketing services and branding support company that has clients in the home furnishings, wine and spirits, and action sports industries, recently teamed up with a winery in North Carolina to assist with flood relief efforts following Hurricane Matthew.

Employees at WGG heeded the call for assistance from its customer, Duplin Winery, a Rose Hill, N.C.-based vineyard, by donating baby supplies, baby food, blankets, toiletries, cleaning supplies, clothing and toys for people impacted by the storm’s flood surge. The company has transported one shipment and is making plans for a second to the area.

In addition to the tangible donations, employees pitched in cash donations, and another Wright Global Graphics’ customer, bottled water supplier LeBleu, donated product to flood victims.

“When we heard from Duplin Winery that their area in Eastern North Carolina had been severely impacted by Hurricane Matthew and was in need, our team immediately jumped into action,” said Greg Wright, president and CEO. “Within 24 hours, we had a conference room filled with donations from our employees and other partners willing to pitch in. We were able to get the supplies delivered to local agencies for distribution to those in need.”

Hurricane Matthew moved up the coast of North Carolina bringing torrential, widespread rain to eastern North Carolina and caused severe flooding and damage in its wake. “Responding to this need is simply the right thing to do. Our hearts go out to those affected by the storm” Wright said.
