Dallas Market Center Rebrands, Expands Temporary Exhibits

A new name, a new design and new product offerings in temporary exhibit areas are on tap for the January Market in Dallas, with expanded opportunities for exhibitors and an extensive collection of curated merchandise for buyers at the Total Home & Gift Market, which takes place Jan. 18-22.

Now known as The Temps, the spaces include a new open floor plan, décor upgrades, elevated amenities and events. The new layout will create a more accessible and convenient buying experience for attendees to source products in a variety of home and gift categories, according to officials at the Dallas Market Center.

“Dallas offers buyers more unique, meaningful and handmade products in more categories than anyone else,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “The Temps at Total Home & Gift Market is a great place for buyers to find products that will differentiate their stores from their competitors and serves as a springboard for emerging lines.”

Tech + Active, a new focus in the gift temp area for January, features tech and active gifts, gadgets and gear for life on the go. Tech + Active will be in the Gift Temps on the twelfth floor of the World Trade Center.

Impulse: The Cash & Carry Show, previously known as the Cash & Carry section in Market Hall, features a variety of items that can be purchased and taken home the same day.

Other temp areas include the Design Temps in the Trade Mart atrium, Vintage and Furniture in Market Hall, and in the World Trade Center: Home Temps on the sixth floor, Gift Temps on the twelfth floor and Women’s Apparel Temps on the thirteenth floor.

The Temps at Total Home & Gift Market have staggered opening dates depending on category. For a full list of special events, market schedule and product offerings, visit the Dallas Market Center website.
