Furniture of America Creates App for Sales Associates, Consumers

As part of a commitment to provide its staff, retail partners and consumers with state-of-the-art home furnishings solutions, full-line resource Furniture of America has created the “myFOA app” that can be downloaded now from the Apple APP store or Google Play store.
The new app also allows sales associates at FOA’s retail partners to actually sell product from their mobile devices from anywhere and have access to Furniture of America’s comprehensive inventory. It is available 24/7 from their cell phones and tablets, the company said.
“To help our retail partners be as efficient as possible, they can now search for products, check pricing and inventory, download and email pictures and place orders from their mobile phones or tablets from anywhere,” said Michael Genrich, Furniture of America’s senior vice president of sales and marketing.
“Now, whether they are on the sales floor working with a customer, or on a day off talking with friends or potential customers, the retail sales associates have access to and can see inventory and order FOA product anywhere and at any time,” Genrich explained.
The new app also offers a host of benefits for the retailer’s delivery and support personnel. Using the app, all of the retailer’s delivery and support teams are able to download high-resolution product pictures and email them, or pull a copy of the assembly instructions for any Furniture of America product during a delivery or service call.
The material also can be emailed to the consumer if requested.
Genrich added that the app is also consumer friendly. “Although the consumer cannot see pricing, he or she can see the full depth and breadth of our product lines, just as they can on our website at www.foagroup.com,” he said.
Further, consumers interested in purchasing can use the dealer locater on the app and on the website.
Furniture of America will be demonstrating their new app during the upcoming High Point Market at its showroom located at 247 S. Main St.
