Wright Global Graphics, a marketing services and branding support company, has promoted Garry Jones to vice president of manufacturing.
Jones, a 29-year veteran of the company, succeeds Doug Floyd, who recently retired after 42 years of service. He reports to Wright Global Graphics President and CEO Greg Wright, and oversees all production for the company at its four domestic manufacturing facilities in North Carolina and Georgia.
Jones joined Wright Global Graphics in 1987 as a graphic artist responsible for pre-press layout followed by his position as a designer of labels. He was later named manager of the company’s pre-press department and oversaw the company’s move from an analog process into a digital workflow.
Jones spent a brief stint in sales, research and development and as wide format manager before being named vice president of showroom solutions.
“Garry’s talent and leadership skills are an incredible asset to us,” Wright said. “As a valued member of our team, he is a strategic planner with a firm grasp of current and emerging manufacturing technologies. His leadership skills are impeccable, and Garry has a great knack for honing talent. Under Garry’s leadership we’ll continue to see increases in our manufacturing capabilities and in our ability to meet our clients’ needs in an accurate and timely manner.”
