Lisbon-based Designer to Headline WithIt Educational Breakfast

She will discuss her global creative initiatives to develop and source hard-to-find products. She and moderator Caroline Hipple, president of Norwalk Furniture, will explore her entrepreneurial quest to bring beautiful design to the world, across every price point.

Her firm caters to luxury homes, yachts and jets of royal families and the world's elite. At the opposite end of the price spectrum, she and her daughter and business partner Marta Aranha, have designed 80,000 square-foot Kinda Home stores in Angola, which she describes as "Ikea for Africa".

In the United States, their recently launched brand, Bunakara, shares a prêt-à-porter line of artisanal textiles and accent furniture with boutique stores and interior designers.
