Las Vegas Market Opens Registration for Winter Show

Even though the High Point Market is less than three weeks away, registration already has begun for the next Las Vegas Market, which takes place Jan. 22-26.

With more than 3,700 resources, officials said the market will feature more new resources, greater breadth and depth, exclusive collections across all categories, including major launches for the bedding industry, as well as market-exclusive programming including the Design Icon and Housewares Design Awards.

“By the numbers, Summer 2016 Market was a success across the board,” said Robert Maricich, Chief Executive Officer of International Market Centers. “It was our largest ever in terms of buyers and suppliers, and we expect that our momentum will continue heading into the new year, positioning Winter 2017 Market as another record-breaker in terms of resource expansion and attendance growth.”

Winter 2017 Market highlights include continued expansion of gift, home décor and furniture resources in both permanent showrooms and temporary exhibits. Within gift, targeted growth is expected in gourmet, lifestyle, seasonal and artisanal product categories; a remerchandising of better goods is planned for home décor; and within furniture, there will be ongoing development of casual and outdoor offerings, and the nation’s premiere bedding market will showcase the top 15 bedding manufacturers.

Temporary exhibits at Las Vegas Market will continue to expand this winter, with B2 Home Furnishings temporaries expected to sell out with a record number of companies; and another record-breaking number of gift and home décor exhibitors showcased in five categories at The Pavilions at Las Vegas Market: Gift, Home, Design, Handmade and Discoveries, The Vintage Antique Marketplace.

Las Vegas Market’s newly redesigned website offers online tools to make market preparation easier and more efficient. The Online Catalog Gallery facilitates pre-Market product sourcing and shopping, and the online market planner assists buyers with advance preparation and appointment scheduling.

The #LVMKT app also makes at-Market navigation easier and provides on-the-go access to Market information and schedules – and the tools are enhanced every market.

Las Vegas Market offers many hotel options for market-goers, from budget-friendly to luxury, gaming or non-gaming. Discounted rates start at $35 per night with added value benefits such as discounts on shows and meals, in-room Internet, free local calls, discounted show tickets, free self-parking and more.

Officials said the popular “Book the Block” promotion, sponsored by IMC and Connections Housing, offers marketgoers a chance to win prizes such as dinners, show tickets, room upgrades, free stays and more. To be eligible, bookings must be made through Connections Housing, the official travel agency for Las Vegas Market. For details visit, http://www.lasvegasmarket.com/hotels.
