Bob’s Staffers Don Pajamas to Support Charity for At-Risk Children

The iconic Brooklyn Bridge was the scene of a recent fund-raiser for the Pajama Program, a nationwide program that assists at-risk children and is supported by Bob’s Discount Furniture.

Numerous Bob’s employees donned pajamas and took part in a walk across the bridge to raise money for the program, which provides children with new pajamas and books for bedtime reading.

Officials said the event was timed to raise awareness that the “danger season” where temperatures begin to fall, is fast approaching and puts more underprivileged children at risk.

About 200 pajama-clad walkers took part in the event, and Bob’s donated $1,000 to support the non-profit organization. The retailer also supports the program throughout the year through the “Café Collections” program at its stores.
