Ashley HomeStore Opens Second Guatemala City Location

Ashley Furniture HomeStore has opened its second location in Guatemala City, an 11,904-square-foot showroom that features fully accessorized vignettes across all major furniture categories.
The new store, the second operated by Homemart Corp., features bedroom, dining room, upholstery, motion upholstery, leather, occasional tables, entertainment centers, home office, youth bedroom, recliners, mattresses, lamps, accent pillows, throws, area rugs and accessories.
The youth bedroom section showcases the “Ashley Kids,” a place for children to have a little fun and try out the selection of kids’ bunk, trundle and conventional beds; desks, mattresses and dressers.
The bedding gallery exhibits the most popular mattress brands, including the private-label Ashley Sleep line, one of the fastest growing mattress brands in the world.
The new store, which staged its grand opening Sept. 2, has about 60 employees.
