Pointer Sisters, Maggie Rose Headline High Point Market Entertainment

The Pointer Sisters will take the stage Sunday, Oct. 23, while Rose will perform Saturday, Oct. 22.

Rose features a bluesy blend of rock flavored original American country tunes. With two Billboard Hot Country Songs and an Emmy already to her credit, her repertoire includes “I Ain’t Your Momma,” “Love Me More” and “Broken.”

The Pointer Sisters bring their two decades worth of hits to the stage, including a number of chart-topping hits, gold records and Grammy Awards from the early 1970s to the late 1980s. Sisters Ruth, Issa, and Sadako will perform hits including “He’s So Shy,” “Jump (For My Love),” “I’m So Excited,” “Slow Hand,” “Fire,” and “Goldmine.”

Doors open for all events at 7 p.m. at Center Stage, between the Transportation Terminal and Showplace, and the concerts will begin at 7:30 p.m.  Early entry for market-goers who have been issued a Buyer pass will begin at 6:45 pm.  Food and drinks are provided to all market-goers with a current Fall Market pass and photo ID.  No one under the age of 15 will be admitted.
