Star International, Orient Express Add Showplace Showrooms

The new exhibit spaces are located at the hub of the Showplace atrium, and will provide improved visibility and ease of access for buyers, the company said.

Orient Express will be in space 1800, while Star International is across the hall in space 1850. The companies also will maintain their showrooms in space C-303 of the International Home Furnishings Center.

"We are excited to present two beautiful new showrooms for High Point market,” said Anna Schweiss, Vice President of Design and Merchandising. “We have been residents of IHFC for over 30 years and while we will continue to reside predominately in Commerce 303, we are looking forward to also tapping into what Showplace has to offer. These two new showrooms will be wall to wall glass and allow phenomenal visibility to all market attendees who visit Showplace.”

“The showroom expansion into Showplace comes at an exciting time for our company” she added. “After renovating our Las Vegas showroom in the Spring, we feel that it is a great time to also renovate our existing IHFC Commerce showroom,” which will combine Orient Express and Star for the first time.

Based in Foothill Ranch, Calif., Star International and Orient Express produce bedroom, dining room, upholstery and occasional furniture.
