Kalaty Revamps Website, Dealer Portal

Kalaty Rug Corp. has re-launched its company’s website,, following an extensive remodeling effort.

In addition to a cleaner-looking design, the new conforms more dynamically to various screen sizes, translating into a more efficient and more user-friendly experience.

“In addition to being a showcase for our extensive line of superior-quality handcrafted area rugs, our website should be a useful tool for our dealers and ultimately for consumers,” says Ariel Kalaty, a company spokesperson.  “We are always looking at ways to provide our dealers with new-and-improved tools and programs as well as the best possible customer service, and we feel this updated version of our website will help us do this.”

Among the highlights of the new site is that most aspects of the B2B section, which was formerly called KRC Web, have been integrated into the site to provide users with a more intuitive experience. New users can register on the site, and all past registrations are still valid, the company said.

The Dealer Portal has a new look and offers several new features:

*A new hang tag page enables dealers to download rug tag templates for printing with or without the Kalaty logo.

*Dealers can check stock or order rugs by browsing the site as usual, but when they click on size, a pop-up window with specific product information appears.

*Stock info and item prices show up in the shopping cart.

*The final order email will include stock info, pricing as well as a thumbnail image of the rug ordered.

*Dealers can now access detailed account information such as orders placed, rugs invoiced and a review of orders placed on the company app or the website.

*Rugs shipped via UPS can now be tracked online.
