Englander Sleep Products has signed a new license agreement with mattress producer and retailer Don Colchon Group, based in Monterrey, Mexico, to make and market Englander-branded beds throughout its home country.
According to Englander president and CEO Kevin Toman, Don Colchon Group (DCG) is a family- owned, vertically integrated business headed by CEO Jesus Gonzalez and founded in 1982. The company employs 200 persons and operates 35 stores across Mexico.
“We’re very pleased to have Don Colchon Group as the newest member of our international licensee community,” Toman said. “Everything that DCG manufactures— from mattresses and sleep accessories to furniture products—reflects the company’s sincere dedication to quality and value and to improving quality of life for consumers.”
Gonzalez noted that his company conducts sleep research on an ongoing basis, resulting in a number of its own patented technologies and designs.
“We also have strategic partnerships with European-based producers which enable us to access additional technologies,” Gonzalez added.
“Overall, our goal is to offer superior technologies, designs and components that ensure every person the very best night’s sleep.”
Ranked in 2015 as a Top 10 U.S. mattress producer, Englander has 12 U.S. factory locations and coast-to-coast distribution of its products. With the addition of DCG, the company also has 20 international locations.
Today, Englander markets a number of specialty brands like E-gel™ and Nature’s Finest® Organic and Latex Sleep series. The producer also offers a number of coil-based designs like Lifestyle ™, Posture Support™ and Tension Ease™, in addition to its new Forever™ series.
