Hooker Furniture Taps Phillip Siler for VP Asian Operations

In this new role, Siler will work closely with the U.S.-based merchandising team and the Asia-based team to ensure samples are engineered and built to the company’s expectations and ensure that first cuttings and finishes are to specifications, said Hank Long, Senior Vice President of merchandising and design for Hooker.
In addition, Siler will help manage new product development for international and special accounts.
Phillip is a 20-year-plus veteran of the furniture industry with proven leadership in sales, merchandising and marketing, Long said. He has worked in management positions with Lane, Universal, Lacquer Craft and most recently with Theodore Alexander in Vietnam.
Siler is based in Ho Chi Minh City and reports to Long.
