Bob’s Furniture Plans New Store In Racine Wisconsin

Bob’s Furniture will be opening a new store at the Regency Mall in Racine Wisconsin, with construction plans to create two entrances into the mall as part of its interior renovations, Director of City Development Amy Connolly said this week.
Bob’s Furniture will be replacing Electronics, appliances and bedding store, H.H. Gregg Appliance Store that currently does not have an entrance into the mall.
Kimberlain and Kyle Hammer of Camburas & Theodore, an Illinois architectural firm discussed the proposal for the façade sign for the store before the Plan Commission that was unanimously approved the Plan Commission. The recommendation goes to the City Council, which is scheduled to meet next on Monday.
A source from Bob’s said this week that the mostly eastern United States chain plans to open a store at Regency next spring as well as two more stores in the Milwaukee area. Bob’s stores are located throughout New England, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Illinois, according to the company’s website.
