Franklin Furniture Institute To Host Reshoring Summit

Furniture being a big business in Mississippi, the Franklin Furniture Institute at Mississippi State University will be conducting its Make it in America Reshoring Summit on Thursday, August 11.
Mickey Milligan of the Mississippi Development Authority and Harry Moser of the Reshoring Initiative will be the speakers among other successful manufacturers in the state.
A workforce training panel, presentation on NIST MEP reshoring, and report on the Wal-Mart 2016 U.S. Manufacturing Supplier Summit are also in the pipeline.
With a mission to help sustain and increase the competitiveness of the furniture and related industries in Mississippi and beyond, the Franklin Furniture Institute (formerly the Institute for Furniture Manufacturing and Management) is a multi-disciplinary effort involving Mississippi State’s colleges of Business, Forest Resources, Engineering, and Architecture.
