Art Van Celebrates New Opening in Coralville, Iowa

Some furniture employees in Coralville are celebrating the opening of the new Art Van Furniture because they got to keep their jobs.
The owners of the store originally owned Simpson furniture, but closed it and switched to Art Van Furniture.
Art Van furniture is a furniture company based out of Michigan.
Randy Harrington, an employee, says all the employees were asked to stay, and the company also hired 15 new employees. He says he's been selling furniture for years and is grateful.
"All of us got to keep our jobs if we wanted them and in fact Dale and Deb hired 15 extra people so we've got more employees now and we're running more efficiently now," Harrington said.
Art Van Furniture held a grand opening in Cedar Falls late last week.
