Summer LV Market Announces More Furniture Categories and Resources

The furniture presentation at Summer Las Vegas Market, running from July 31-August 4, 2016, showcases new tenants, major relocations and expansions – representing nearly 70,000 square feet of additional showroom space – and sold-out temporary showrooms on the second floor of Building B (B2).

“Furniture is a consistent high performer for us in Las Vegas,” said Scott Eckman, Executive Vice President of Marketing & Furniture Leasing, International Market Centers. “The category continues to mature and evolve as we add greater depth – casegoods, casual, more price points – and buyers appreciate the ability to have a complete shopping experience with an increasingly robust and comprehensive offering. One-stop-shopping and maximizing their time are first and foremost for us – tangible values we continue to deliver on market after market.”

Permanent newcomers include La-Z-Boy Casegoods (B558), TOV Furniture (B658), IDP Italia (B660), Lievo (B707), Casual Classics (C1264), Casa Solutions (B-1108/1110/1111), Dwell Home (C1484), Allen Home (A920), Porter International Designs (C1444/1452) and Homey Mattress (C1583).

The growth and maturation in furniture is evident with major expansions, with tenants doubling or nearly tripling showroom space in some cases, including: United Furniture (nearly doubling space to over 38,000 square feet), Cozzia expanding, almost doubling their square footage, Modway and Target Marketing Systems nearly tripling their space, and expansions for K-Motion, Twin-Star International, Eclipse International/Eastman House, and Reverie expanding into an additional 2,500 square feet, as well as Kuka Home – growing to 14,000 square feet – and Flair to 18,000 square feet.  They join current tenants Ashley, AICO, Magnussen, Lexington, Décor-Rest, Christopher Guy, Stanley Furniture, Sunpan, Bassett, Natuzzi, Klaussner, Zuo and more across all three buildings and dedicated temporary venue The Pavilions.

The temporaries on B2 include over 100 tenants, with more than 20 new for Summer Market, including two international newcomers: West Africa-based Gaban Wood Hub, a Guatemalan Pavilion featuring a unique and eclectic collection of resources from a variety of Guatemalan manufacturers, as well as US-based American Dining & Seating LLC, GTR Leather, Hugo Park and Millcraft Handcrafted Furniture. On the casual front, Las Vegas Market is launching an exciting promotion for Summer 2016. Retailers and interior designers can enter to win 1 of 14 casual/outdoor seating displays from leading vendors.  The arrangements will be on display in the Grand Plaza during Las Vegas Market. To enter, retailers and designers can visit the showroom of each display and drop their business card into a collection box. Winners will be selected end of day Wednesday, August 3. Market officials will contact the winners and arrange shipping or pickup of the display.
