WithIt Annual Conference Receives Thumbs-Up for Relevant Conference Content

The association is excited to have been able to host students enrolled at Appalachian State University, East Carolina University, High Point University, Meredith College, North Carolina State University, University of Arizona, UNC Greensboro and Wake Forest University were able to attend this year’s event as a result of generous sponsorship of Klaussner, Century Furniture, Connie Post Affordable Designs, Crest Furniture, Judy George International and MicroD, Inc.

“We received terrific feedback on the content of the conference and about the key-note speakers which was confirmation that we achieved our goal of providing a relevant and invigorating experience for our attendees that strengthens our ability to perform in a more meaningful way as industry professionals within our respective companies and as an organization” said Lorri Kelley, President, BDI Furniture.  Claire Hider, an attendee from NC State University, expressed her excitement at the opportunity to participate in an event “with so many professionals willing to share their expertise and cultivate the next generation.”  Claire is pursuing a Bachelor of Science with a major in textile design and recently started a local WithIt Chapter on the NC State campus.

The WithIt Annual Professional Conference offers industry professionals at all stages of their careers the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally, develop leadership skills and connect with industry peers.  The 2017conference, celebrating WithIt’s 20 Year Anniversary, will be held in Charleston, S.C.   Dates for the 2017 Conference and 20 Year Anniversary celebration events will be announced at a later time.
