For furniture retailers and suppliers challenged with managing and marketing to Millennials—the solution is psychology-based, says generational expert Christine Hassler.
Speaking at the dealer launch of A.R.T. Furniture’s Epicenters-Austin collection in Austin, Hassler provided insights into the key drivers and motivators unique to this generation.
In her presentation, Hassler dispelled four negative perceptions associated with Millennials—that they’re lazy, disloyal, broke, and only shop online—with psychology-based insights into how to motivate them to work harder, stay longer and spend more in brick-and-mortar retail stores. Her presentation concluded with an interactive panel discussion with five Millennial consumers.
Recognized as a leading expert on generational diversity, Hassler advises companies such as Nike, Intuit, American Express, Coty, Hearst Publications, and Wells Fargo on how to bridge generational gaps in the workplace as well as attract, engage and retain consumers and employees.
