Somerton Dwelling Names Catherine Chen, Asia Pacific Liaison

Somerton Dwelling, maker of freshly innovative home furnishings, has named Catherine Chen to the newly created position of Asia Pacific liaison.
She reports to Chris Schicker, Director of Asian operations.
Chen will work with Schicker to facilitate production processes and communications at Somerton Dwelling’s factory in China and with their supply partners in Vietnam.
“Having Catherine as part of Somerton Dwelling’s Asia team helps ensure we operate at peak efficiency, with seamless transitions between our factory and other product vendors, and throughout the quality assurance, shipping and inventory processes,” commented Schicker.
Chen, a graduate of SUNY-Buffalo, began her career in sales with Kingstone Furniture Company Ltd. before joining Somerton Dwelling in operations 2015. Chen resides in China and Taiwan and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
