Pride Family Brands, Brad Elliott Retires After 43-year Career

After 43 years in the home furnishings industry and twelve as a manufacturers’ representative for Pride Family Brands and other outdoor living lines, Brad Elliott will retire this summer.

As the owner of Elliott Sales, headquartered in Rock Hill, S.C., Brad currently manages outdoor product sales in a territory including North and South Carolina as well as Georgia.

“We are thankful for Brad’s years of dedicated service to Pride Family Brands as well as to the industry,” said Steve Lowsky, CEO, Pride Family Brands. “Brad has done an outstanding job representing our products and assisting the retail partners within his region over the years. He has always been a true professional and will be missed.”

Elliott’s relationship with Pride Family Brands began in 2004, when he added the luxury cast aluminum manufacturer to his line-up of outdoor furnishings companies. Since 2002, he has represented outdoor furnishing and accessories lines including Castelle, one of many Pride Family Brands; Gloster and Whitecraft.

Prior to opening Elliott Sales and working as an independent manufacturer representative, Elliott worked with Schumacher Fabrics and Wall Coverings from 1973-1985 and Sunar Furniture from 1985- 1989.  From 1989 to 2002, Brad worked for Sauvagnat, Inc. (Evolutif-Triconfort – Formerly Allibert-Triconfort) for which he served as president from 1995 to 2002.  Brad held a position on the board of the Summer Casual Furniture Manufacturers’ Board (currently the ICFA) from 1995 – 2001.

Brad admits that he is looking forward to retirement and to more time for fishing and travels with his wife, Jan, more time with his family and grandchildren as well as giving back through the Project Hope Crisis Ministry.

An announcement by Pride is forthcoming with regard to the new manager being named for Elliott’s territory. For more information about Pride Family Brands and luxury casual furniture, visit www.pridefamilybrands.com.
