Jackson Browne To Headline Atlanta’s ICON Honors

Legendary singer, songwriter and double Hall of Famer Jackson Browne, will perform during the 2016 ICON Honors ceremony, taking place on July 14, at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market.
“Jackson Browne’s music captures the spectrum of human emotion in a timeless mosaic of poetry and melody,” said Jeffrey Portman Sr., vice chairman, president and COO of Icon Honors founding sponsor and producer AmericasMart Atlanta. “His songs give voice to our hopes, hurts, visions and dreams. They are in many respects the anthems of life.”
ICON Honors celebrates excellence in the home and gift industry and is sponsored and produced by AmericasMart Atlanta. The event will take place in the famous Fox Theatre, a world-renowned concert and event venue for live entertainment.
Browne will perform also be performing in North Carolina on May 28 and June 1, and will be donating the entire net proceeds of both shows to support local and national LGBT groups, including Equality NC and Human Rights Campaign.
