FastFact: Industry Sales Up Compared to 2015 Q1

Furniture sales, totaling approximately $23 billion, were up 4.2 percent in the first quarter of 2016 compared to the first quarter of 2015.
Bedding sales were also up 5.1 percent over the first quarter of 2015.
