FurnitureDealer.Net Raises Charity Via March Madness Challenge

FurnitureDealer.Net, a provider of websites and Internet marketing services to independent home furnishings retailers, raised more than $5,000 for charities chosen by its fourth annual March Madness Charity Challenge winners.
Participation was free and open to anyone in the home furnishings industry. Participants registered online by picking winners of games in each round of the NCAA men’s college basketball tournament.
“We had our biggest turnout ever, with 115 industry partners and friends participating,” said Andy Bernstein, founder of FurnitureDealer.Net. “There were more winners than ever and we donated more prizes to more charities than ever.”
Jessica Everett of Furniture Barn in New Castle, Del., took first place overall, winning $1,000 for her charity, Preston’s Playground, for picking three of the Final Four teams.
