Hall of Fame Celebration Moves to Larger Venue

This year’s celebration will be held in the Guilford Ballroom at the Sheraton Greensboro at Four Seasons on Oct. 23 during Fall High Point Market.

“Tickets were in such demand last year that we’re relocating to a ballroom that can accommodate up to 2,400 guests,” said Michael Amini, president of the American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Foundation. 

Being able to add to the number of seats was the primary reason for the move.

“It’s the signature event of the industry,” Amini said. “We don’t ever want to tell anyone that they can’t attend because we don’t have any more tickets. We welcome everyone who wants to join and support the Hall of Fame and its important work of preserving the history of our industry.” 

The annual event celebrates the formal induction of industry leaders into the American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame. The Foundation will announce the names being honored in June.
