DORMEO Names Van Lear as VP of Operations

DORMEO, a leading mattress brand worldwide, has named Jim Van Lear as the new vice president of operations, overseeing all aspects of operations and manufacturing for the Winchester, Va., and Plano, Texas, facilities.
Van Lear brings more than 30 years of bedding industry experience, including operating manufacturing plants in multiple locations for Sealy, Simmons and Spring Air. He spent the beginning of his career at Sealy before joining Simmons Bedding Co. and rising through the manufacturing and operations ranks. Most recently, Van Lear owned and operated SensoGel.
He will be relocating to DORMEO’s headquarters in Plano.
