Surya Hosts Fab40 Instagram Contest
To commemorate 40 years in the home furnishings industry, Surya will host a special Instagram contest during High Point Market.
Market attendees are encouraged to visit the showroom, snap a photo of their favorite accessory, describe what makes the product a style standout, and post the image to Instagram using hashtag #suryaFAB40 for the chance to win the product they photographed.
Over the past four decades, Surya has evolved from a small supplier of hand-crafted rugs to a provider of more than 50,000 home accessories in product categories that include accent furniture, art, bedding, decorative accents, lighting, mirrors, pillows, poufs, rugs and throws.
“We’ve come such a long way from the time when my father started Surya with humble aspirations to bring beautiful, artisan rugs to the United States,” said Satya Tiwari, president. “Today, we offer designers and retailers an expansive range of product options in a myriad of colors, styles and price points, making it easy for them to help their customers create effortlessly coordinated looks for any decor preference and budget. Home décor is all about self-expression and putting a personal stamp on a space, and we’re excited to see which Surya accessories market attendees choose as their favorites.”
To enter the contest, participants should visit the showroom at 4100 Showplace; post a photo of their favorite non-rug product on Instagram; say why they love it; and tag it #suryaFAB40 while mentioning @suryasocial.
Three winners will be chosen randomly after Market and will be notified via Instagram.
There is a limit of one entry per Instagram account. Instagram users agree to allow Surya to use their photo as it pertains to the contest. The selected accessory must have a wholesale value of $400 or less. The contest begins Friday, April 15 at 8 a.m. ET and closes Wednesday, April 20 at 5 p.m. ET.
