Virginia Ashley HomeStore to Giveaway 30 Children’s Mattress

Ashley HomeStore will donate one Tempur-Pedic twin mattress every day this month to support children in need throughout Newport News, Va.
“We’re calling on the community to help us with our ongoing ‘Hope to Dream’ campaign,” said Brett Johnson, director of sales and marketing, GrandBrands Furniture. “Social workers, teachers, civic groups, friends, family and non-profit organizations on the Peninsula are encouraged to submit nominations …”
Nominations may be submitted online.
“The Tempur-Pedic mattress donation includes a twin mattress and foundation set – a $1,000 value,” said Jeff Mizeur, field sales manager for TempurSealy. “We are proud to partner with the new Ashley HomeStore in Newport News on a critical initiative to help kids get a good night’s sleep.”
The “30 in 30” program follows the March 16 grand opening of the 30,000-square-foot Ashley HomeStore in Newport News, Va.
The mattress donation campaign will also take to the airwaves to spread the word. Each day in April, Ashley’s media partner 101.3 2WD and its disc jockey Don London will promote the mattress giveaway on air and encourage nominations. All qualified applicants will be notified via phone or e-mail and given 30 days to respond. London will also give away a $100 gift card to the third caller every weekday throughout April.
