13 Schools to Exhibit at ICFF

Thirteen colleges will exhibit during NYCxDesign week at ICFF in May.

Dozens of universities, colleges, art and technical schools applied for a chance to participate during the event May 14-17.

The pool of submissions highlight the best from undergraduate and graduate student programs, and feature innovative theories driving tomorrow’s design practices, and meeting today’s design challenges.

“The exhibitions chosen for this year’s ICFF Schools program showcase what’s new and what’s next from design futurists currently enrolled in the top design programs,” said Kevin O’Keefe, ICFF event director. “We are proud to welcome these esteemed institutions to exhibit at ICFF 2016.”

The following institutions were chosen to participate in the 2016 ICFF Schools program. Each school was chosen for its distinct studio portfolio theme:

° Fashion Institute of Technology with: A Sense of Space … A Sense of Place

° Kean University will present: Empathy + Aesthetics + Economy

° Parsons School of Design with: How = What: Process and Experimentation

° Pratt Institute will feature work from its Post Digital program
