Flexsteel Hosts Retailers for University

Flexsteel University, which was held at the World Market Center, hosted 88 participants from the 42 stores.

“This year’s Flexsteel University had a very diverse group of attendees which made for a very positive and rewarding Flexsteel learning experience,” said Roger Freeman, Flexsteel retail development manager.

Flexsteel University is a three-day training event dedicated to  learning about Flexsteel, furniture sales techniques and various educational workshops about industry topics. Participants enjoyed the feature presentation, “How to Connect with Anybody” by Jody Seivert from ONEXONE. Fabric and leather

workshops were presented by guest speakers Hannah Alderson of Robert Allen and Ernie Rockhill of Leather Miracles. Justin Mills, Chip Piekenbrock, Freeman and Cara Price all of Flexsteel conducted other workshops and discussion groups. Finally, participants were given a tour of the Flexsteel showroom at the World Market Center.

“We took advantage of the great meeting spaces and accommodations that Las Vegas and the World Market Center has to offer,” Freeman said. “We were able to have dinner on the 16th floor of Building B at World Market Center and take in the fabulous views of the cityscape of Las Vegas. We appreciate the use of the meeting spaces and having our attendees in our showroom, Building A at World Market Center, was a huge hit.”
