NFM to Use WorkForce Employee Software

Furniture retailer Nebraska Furniture Mart has selected WorkForce Software’s EmpCenter for its operations.

EmpCenter Time and Attendance provides coverage and real-time visibility for employee groups and locations on a cloud-based platform. Its flexibility allows organizations to track labor activities with precision while providing real-time visibility for metrics such as scheduled versus actual work hours, overtime, and time-off accrued.

"We needed a solution that could meet the needs of our entire workforce, from the cashiers on the retail floor, to our warehouse employees and those working from our corporate home office," said Doug Hamlin, Nebraska Furniture Mart CFO. "After evaluating several vendors, we selected WorkForce Software because their solution is able to provide our managers with the tools they need to make their jobs easier. Eliminating the lag time we used to experience will help us save costs and increase efficiencies, as well."

The company also selected EmpCenter Absence Compliance Tracker for managing employee leaves. Preconfigured to simplify compliance with more than 400 absence and leave regulations across North America, the tracker streamlines eligibility determinations and end-to-end case management.

"EmpCenter's real-time visibility will provide the company's managers greater strategic insight across all locations and employee groups-including their retail stores, warehouses, and the company's corporate office."
