4th Generation Joins Lawrance Furniture

Joel Haimsohn, son of Howard Haimsohn, president and CEO, and Julie Haimsohn, has joined the company. Joel Haimsohn will be trained on all aspects of the business, initially working in sales. He reports to Howard Haimsohn and Tom Moore, sales manager.

“We are excited to have Joel join Lawrance Furniture,” Howard Haimsohn said. “He brings with him strong experience from a different side of our industry and will help Lawrance to grow and continue as San Diego’s leading destination for middle to high-end contemporary home furnishings.”

Prior to joining the company, Joel Haimsohn was a retail sales specialist with bedding supplier Serta where for the last four years he worked in Southern California. He had been with the company since 2008.

Lawrance Furniture was founded in 1937 by Herman Haimsohn. In the 1950s, his son Ed Haimsohn began running the business. Howard Haimsohn, Ed’s son, joined the company in 1976 and has been president since 1988.
