Leo Vera has been named chief operating officer for Reverie, an adjustable bed supplier.
Prior to the promotion, Vera was vice president of operations. In his new position, he is responsible for daily operations as well as overseeing the company’s continued growth and innovation in sleep technology.
Vera began his career in the bedding industry in 2011, as a chief operating and financial officer. He relocated to Michigan to join Reverie in January, 2015.
“Leo’s experience, drive and passion for innovation is a perfect fit for the COO role at Reverie,” said Martin Rawls-Meehan, CEO. “Our business is growing so dramatically that we needed this enhanced layer of management to continuously improve our performance. We believe he has the perfect blend of expertise and a fresh perspective that’s needed in the sleep products industry and are excited to have him join the executive team.”
Prior to joining Reverie, Vera worked with engineering firm Pyrotek. Throughout his career he has held positions with Coopers and Lybrand, Deloitte Consulting Group and IBM Business Consulting Group.
“Reverie is by far the industry leader in quality adjustable power bases, bringing innovation and dynamism to the industry,” Vera said. “I am extremely excited to take on this new role and help our team achieve ever greater results for our dealers and their customers.”
