Flexsteel 2Q Income Up 14.6%

Flexsteel (NASDAQ: FLXS) reported net income of $5.4 million for the second quarter ended Dec. 31, a 14.6 percent increase from $4.7 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter were $125.4 million, a 9.6 percent increase compared to $114.4 million in the prior year period.
Net income for the first six months climbed 16.4 percent to $11.1 million from $9.6 million in the first half of 2014. Net sales for the first half of the year were $252 million, an increase of 12.9 percent from $223.1 million in the first half of last year.
